Learning and Development Specialist, P&C

Join our team as a Learning and Development Specialist, P&C In this role, you’ll collaborate with our Learning and Development team to design, build, write and/or narrate eLearning courses and videos, assessments and knowledge checks, quick reference guides and infographics. You’ll enable the delivery of our learning offerings through facilitation and management of program communications, operations, and logistics.

**What Will You Be Doing?**
- Designing and developing engaging learning content and experiences using sound instructional design principles (ex. ADDIE)
- Creating scalable, interactive eLearning, microlearning, and blended learning programs using learning authoring tools and other media creation tools
- Creating clear, compelling learning content, including scripts, storyboards, job aids, resource guides, and assessments
- Conducting needs analyses in partnership with stakeholders to identify capability gaps and recommend effective learning interventions
- Translating business needs into measurable learning objectives and outcomes
- Developing change management plans to support successful adoption and execution of learning initiatives
- Facilitating live (usually VILT, occasionally in-person) workshops and learning events
- Supporting and managing program communications, operations, and logistics for successful execution of our learning offerings
- Building and deploying learning through our learning management system, support the ongoing maintenance of our LMS platform
- Using data to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and continuously iterate based on learner feedback and outcomes
- Leveraging Learning & Development and instructional design trends, continuously bringing fresh, innovative thinking to enhance our programs
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design with the ability to scope, design, and deliver engaging learning assets
- 3 to 5 + years of experience with facilitation and/or public speaking, with the ability to inspire and guide learners through their learning and development experiences
- Presentation, workshop or other facilitated experience design and development
- Excellent working knowledge of Office 365
- Experience with learning authoring tools and other media creation tools
- Proven communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
- Comfortable presenting to and engaging with groups
- Effective time-management skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to develop strong trust through a coaching model
- Ability to quickly adapt in a new and changing environment while building rapport with new team members
- Experience with Articulate Suite or UKG Pro Learning is considered an asset
- Background or experience with coaching or leadership development is considered an asset
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset
