Project Assistant/Safety Administrator

Victor Energy Ltd is seeking a Project Assistant/Safety Administrator to join our team based out of the Leduc area. You must have good safety awareness, good communication & competent decision-making skills, and a desire to perform requested duties with a focus on safety and appropriate precautions. **Responsibilities**
- Assist Safety Coordinator with tracking of employee training and competency (new hire & existing) by updating employee files
- Provide administrative and clerical support for safety programs
- Assist with tracking and trending of incident reports and subcontractor weekly statistics.
- Upload and distribute subcontractor incident reports to the client
- Perform monthly routine inspection of the office and maintenance shop (verification of overall building safety including fire exits and fire extinguishers)
- Receive, log, track, and monitor engineering-related documents in our database
- Coordinate with Project personnel and subcontractors to prioritize communication
- Coordinate meetings with and collect updates from the client on a regular basis.
- Actively managing and stewarding RFIs between client and other parties
- Coordinating design package (IFR/IFC/BOM/Functional specification) review meetings with all necessary parties.
- Acting as the primary support for the communication between the company and the client
- Performing ongoing drawing reviews and managing revision control as required
- Assisting to verify accuracy of all client invoicing against the transmitted IFR/IFC drawing packages

**Qualifications**:

- Expected to have basic knowledge of OH&S regulations.
- Computer literacy - competent user of Outlook, MS Excel, MSWord, SiteDocs and M-Files
- Ability to perform under stress and multi-task
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an HSA position required
- Auditing experience is advantageous
