Tool Repair Technician

**About us**
The Tool Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining tools and equipment to ensure their proper functionality and performance. This role involves working with various hydraulic systems, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs on equipment.
Daily Activities:
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues in tools and equipment
- Perform repairs on equipment such as hydraulic pumps, jacks, bead breakers, and pneumatic tools
- Replace or repair defective parts such as seals, hoses, fittings, cylinders, etc.
- Test and calibrate repaired tools and equipment as needed to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used
**Requirements**:
- Experience in repairing tools or machinery
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and parts diagrams
- Problem solving skills/ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
- Attention to detail and precision in performing repairs and inspections
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Criminal background check approval
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 5:00pm (with one hour of break time)
- All Stat Holidays and weekends off
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
**Experience**:
- Mechanical: 1 year (preferred)
