Job Summary
Reporting to Agnes’s Director and Curator, and working closely with Agnes’s Administration and Operations Coordinator, Program Coordinator, Communications and Marketing Coordinator and engaging the diverse team of Agnes curators, the TD Civic Engagement, Strategic Initiatives and Impact Coordinator plays an integral role in conducting community-based research and developing and implementing program-driven strategies that build capacity for audience development, membership engagement, and visitor service in support the socially-minded and civically-engaged vision of Agnes Reimagined, our new purpose-built facility opening in 2026.

As Agnes prepares for 144% increase in public programming spaces, including a new community-facing hub (Etherington House, downstairs), Welcome Centre, arts maker space and studio, and Arts & Events Hub in Agnes Reimagined, the TD Civic Engagement, Strategic Initiatives and Impact Coordinator works to creatively envision new gallery systems that support these growing programming areas, earned revenue streams, and new “AGNES” signature programs. While working collaboratively with the Director and Curator and Administrations and Operations Coordinator, the TD Civic Engagement, Strategic Initiatives and Impact Coordinator also develops gallery membership strategies that connect new gallery constituents to Agnes’s community-facing spaces, establishes a new visitor services model that informs the operations of the new welcome centre, and, together with the Program Coordinator, assists with specific programs targeting youth and underserviced communities. The TD Civic Engagement, Strategic Initiatives and Impact Coordinator is a key new member of our team that helps to ensure new administrative systems and membership initiatives are aligned with Agnes Reimagined’s inclusive and welcoming vision.

The schedule for this position requires the incumbent to work variable hours on occasion, according to operational and program needs.

**Job Description**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Membership**:
This position enhances and expands AGNES Membership by:

- Building relationships with local stakeholders through a variety of program-driven initiatives that, in turn, build capacity for the enhanced use of new community spaces in Agnes Reimagined.
- Coordinating engagement event post-mortems that inform new membership levels and initiatives.
- Researching and developing new corporate membership levels and building relationships with local businesses through outreach initiatives.
- Piloting new initiatives that support a wide range of social, cultural and economic backgrounds, focusing on unique engagement opportunities with Agnes and assessing areas of potential growth.
- Contributing to the marketing and promotion of special programs and initiatives and the building of a new brand for AGNES Membership.
- Supporting AGNES Membership program as it evolves, including making needs-based assessments and recommendations for future areas of growth.
- Participating in the development of new Customer Relations Management (CRM) system at Agnes to ensure integration of a new AGNES Membership program.
- Overseeing membership-initiative program budget’s tracking revenue and expenditures, providing quarterly reports to Director and Curator, and making proposals for targeted use of funds for community-based initiatives.

**Visitor Services**:
This position builds a new visitor service model and co-envisions the Welcome Centre and Community Hub for Agnes Reimagined in the following ways:

- Hosting workshops, sharing circles, and other program-driven formats to engage diverse communities in visioning Agnes’s new Welcome Centre and Community Hub.
- Developing and coordinating the new AGNES Hosts Program.
- Scheduling timetable and workflow of AGNES Hosts for special events and programs in Agnes’s offsite space, prototyping a new visitor services model for Agnes Reimagined’s Welcome Centre.
- Developing job descriptions for a range of Visitor Service roles in Agnes Reimagined, in consultation with Director and Curator and Administration and Operations Coordinator.
