Pasta Gourmet is looking for someone to play a crucial role in supporting our retail operations. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and looking to grow with our company. You will be working both independently, and alongside the company owners throughout the store. We are looking for someone energetic, organized, and willing to provide retail and customer service support.

Join our team as a **PART TIME Retail CSR/Cashier** and contribute to creating a wonderful shopping experience for our clients, while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prepare, package and serve clients various products.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, closing shifts and all saturday's.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout and store front, including, but not limited to sweeping, dusting and mopping.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product levels.
- Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, bend and reach overhead, squat or stoop to reach items, stand for long periods of time.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in customer service preferred, but not required.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in upselling or promoting products is beneficial.
- **English is required.**

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
