Warehouse Team Member

Madero has an opening in the Saskatoon manufacturing location for the right individual to join our team.

**Join our team as a Warehouse Team Member where you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for various tasks related to order picking, warehouse management systems, and equipment operation.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and move products throughout the facility.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Follow receiving procedures for all inventory and supplies entering the facility.
- Use proper material handling techniques to ensure mínimal damage to inventory.
- Be knowledgeable about all products in warehouse.
- Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders.
- Adherence to Procedures: Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines for warehouse operations, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Be friendly and courteous to colleagues.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Engage in heavy lifting activities as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse team members to achieve daily production targets and ensure efficient warehouse operations

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in order picking and warehouse operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory control.
- Able to proficiently operate a forklift.
- Knowledge of basic material handling equipment and procedures.
- Understand and follow verbal and written direction.
- Experience in Doors, Hardware and Building supplies.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in order picking techniques and utilizing warehouse management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Organizational skills and self-motivation are important attributes.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as part of daily responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in executing warehouse tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.09-$19.12 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
