Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and caring Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for our children. This position offers an opportunity to engage with and nurture young minds in a safe and supportive environment.

**Duties**:

- _Engage children in age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate them -Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Supervise playtime and ensure a safe setting for all activities
- Assist with homework and school assignments
- Provide compassionate care and attention to the children's needs -Instruct children in personal hygien_e _

**Requirements**:
- Prior experience in caregiving or working with children
- Ability to cook meals and perform housekeeping/laundry tasks
- Knowledge of child development stages and appropriate activities
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
- Ability to multitask and prioritize children's needs effectively -First aid certification and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training may be required. -Comfortable with pets we have a dog **-Current police check**

**Nice-to-Have Skills**:

- Experience caring for children of various ages
- Proficiency in meal preparation for kids
- Capability to engage children in educational activities
- Willingness to clean up after children's activities -Drivers Licsense -Located in the Southside of Edmonton or able to commute

This is a paid position that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while gaining valuable childcare experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- childcare: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification (preferred)
