**Status**: Part-time, employee (8-9 hrs every Wednesday)
**Compensation**:$18.00 per hour - travel provided and compensation for travel time**
**provided; assistant will travel with the nurse from Brantford to Toronto.**

Key Responsibilities
- **Client Logistics**:

- Locate, escort, and porter residents to treatment room and back.
- **Clinical Setup & Teardown**:

- Disinfect surfaces, lay out sterile instruments, manage clean/dirty flow between clients.
- Restock consumables.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Answer incoming calls & texts during clinic hours.
- Book or confirm appointments on a tablet or phone.
- Be able to take dictated notes from nurse for charting later on.
- **Travel & Equipment Handling**:

- Load and unload equipment.
- Trained in IPAC (infection prevention and control) standards.
- **Personal Support Worker (PSW), Medical Office Assistant (MOA),** or other health-care aide certificate (students welcome).
- Friendly bedside manner with seniors & high-risk clients.
- Able to stand/bend for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.
- Clear Vulnerable-Sector Police Check.
- Smartphone literacy; comfortable with basic scheduling apps (can be trained).
- Reliable transportation to meet in Brantford by **9 a.m. every Wednesday**.
