Why join our team?
Our road, transportation and urban engineering team is currently growing and is looking for a project manager in urban engineering / urban infrastructure to meet the growing demand in the field. The department currently has several contracts / framework mandates in its order book and continues the strategic expansion of its team. The team also collaborates on external and internal multidisciplinary projects as well as on major projects such as the REM, Champlain, etc.

The department is looking for an experienced engineer who can assume the responsibility of the project manager, while being able to delegate the work to be done to a young team in the process of learning (junior and intermediate). He must be able to support them technically and participate in their development. We have offices in Montreal, Longueuil, Laval, Quebec, Rimouski, Abitibi. It is also possible to work remotely.

What will your contribution to the team be?
- Carry out project management;
- Ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with services offered, deliverables, budgets and timelines;
- Continuous monitoring of project budgets;
- Participate in and carry out studies and technical reports of expertise in hydraulics and urban hydrology and master plans for sewers and aqueducts;
- Design plans and specifications for municipal projects (sewers, aqueduct, pumping stations, roads, roads, etc.);
- Produce cost estimates for the rehabilitation, construction and operation of municipal works;
- Plan, organize and coordinate the work of the sewer and waterworks project team;
- Review plans prepared by technicians and other engineers;
- Liaise with other disciplines on technical issues;
- Ensure customer relations;
- Participate in the preparation of service offers;
- Perform partial surveillance and office surveillance activities; perform all other related tasks.

What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
- Relevant experience of more than 7 years in municipal engineering in Quebec
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
- Relevant experience in studies, design and implementation of various municipal urban infrastructure projects;
- Good knowledge of sewer network simulation software (PCSWMM, XPSWMM,, etc.) and aqueduct (EPANET,, AQUAGEO, etc.);
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcMap software is an asset
