**Position Summary**

This role reports to the Finance Manager.

**What you’ll do**:

- Manage a customer base upwards of 400 accounts.
- Ensure timely collection on customer accounts in accordance with credit terms.
- Post cheque and pre-authorized debit payments into our ERP system, Produce Pro.
- Perform outbound collection calls to clients regarding past due payments.
- Negotiate payment arrangements.
- Perform our morning CAD bank reconciliation.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Issue credit notes upon customer request.
- Attend bi-weekly team meetings solely focused on collection targets and successes.
- Balance out the cash box and debit terminal for customer walk-ins.
- All other duties as assigned.

**What you’ll need**:

- 3+ years of Accounts Receivable Experience is preferred.
- Previous knowledge of an accounting software system is considered an asset.
- Basic understanding of credit and collections.
- Good verbal communication skills - you will be required to answer multiple phone calls from customers.
- Intermediate skill level in Excel.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Thrives in a small team environment of four.

**Work Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday work week.
- Working hours from 9:00AM - 5:00PM.
- May need to enter the warehouse on occasion, which is a cold environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
