We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Dessert Yard. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the exceptional quality of our coffee and beverage offerings, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where creativity and attention to detail are highly valued.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Prepare and Serve Exceptional Beverages**:

- Craft a variety of coffee and specialty beverages according to established recipes.
- Ensure consistency and quality in every drink served.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on preferences.
- Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude.
- **Maintain Cleanliness and Organization**:

- Keep the barista station and service areas clean and well-organized.
- Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- **Product Knowledge**:

- Stay informed about the Dessert Yard menu, including desserts and beverages.
- Educate customers about our offerings and assist with their selections.
- **Operational Support**:

- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- **Adaptability**:

- Handle peak hours and maintain composure during busy periods.
- Be flexible to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

- 2 years experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
