Project Coordinator

**Key Areas of Responsibility
Support Project Leaders with projects and product management administrative tasks.
Maintain current understanding of the product and provide technical support to all internal
departments;
Identify opportunities for improvements to the product and submit them appropriately for
consideration;
Participate in Quality Review Group and support initiatives and actions as required;
Contribute to technical design, development and improvements to all products within the
organization;
Perform and document testing activities to support product development and continuous
improvement projects;
Participate in assembling prototype and/or installing parts on existing equipment (mechanic,
electric and/or electronic);
**Qualifications
Technical Degree or Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical field);
Must have a minimum of 1-2 year of product development experience (testing & assembly of
prototypes) or 1-2 years of product management experience (managing engineering changes,
supporting manufacturing initiatives);
Exceptional communication abilities and well-developed professional verbal and written skills in
French and English. Knowledge of Spanish would be an asset;
Must demonstrate leadership and planning skills;
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, MS Project);
An understanding of electrical and mechanical systems is considered and asset. (We would expect
Must be highly energetic and result oriented;
Technical software knowledge (CAD or CAE - _Computer Aided Engineering_, such as stress analysis
or deformation analysis on a given part or assembly) is an asset;
Programming skills would be an asset;
Knowledge of certification standards and processes such as UL (Underwriters Laboratory), CSA
(Canadian Standards Association), NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) would be an asset.
**Working Conditions**
Office and work shop environment with some hands on involvement. Regular hours 8:30am to 5:00pm
