**Marketing Assistant**

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our busy marketing team. You will be reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and assisting with all marketing related tasks. You may be required to perform administrative tasks, create designs for print and online content, and assist in event planning.

To ensure success as a Marketing Assistant, you should have in-depth knowledge of traditional and digital marketing techniques, and excellent interpersonal skills. Ultimately, a Marketing Assistant provides valuable assistance to the marketing team and boosts the company image.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Marketing Manager with project organization.
- Social media content creation and management.
- Using graphic design techniques to create artwork layouts and visual design materials.
- Using online marketing metrics to gather information from web and social media pages.
- Measure and optimize results from paid and organic social media campaigns.
- Coordinate collaborations with content creators.
- Assisting promotional presentations and organizing promotional events (tradeshows).
- Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of marketing activities.
- Carrying out all duties with customer focus at all times.

**Qualifications**
- Post-graduate in related field
- 1+ year experience in a related marketing or social media content creation role
- In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and databases.
- Proficient in MS Office and other marketing software
- Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Strong photography skills; videography skills an asset
- Basic video editing skills and knowledge of online analytics (Google Ads) an asset
- Knowledge of Google Analytics / paid ads an asset
- Understanding of advanced marketing principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and follow company’s branding guidelines
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
