Job description and attributes:
We need someone with a problem solving attitude, and takes initiatives to solve inquiries/day to day situations with ownership. Have attention to detail ; be adaptive and accepting to workflow changes and suggestions. Have ease in terms of navigating pharmacy softwares. Be a quick learner with a collaborative and amiable persona.

Expectations:
1) Attend Customers at the pick up point, ensure Pharmacist is relieved off the pickup site and to take over as soon as counselling part is conducted.

2) Direct customers to appropriate OTC products.

3) Maintain the OTC (front shop) section (ensure products are stocked, manage empty spaces with an alternative, check for expired products time to time, ensure price tickets are updated). Conduct monthly expiry checks and returns.

4) Attend phone calls, take refill requests, transfer requests, general inquiries as much as possible, and handing the call to the pharmacists only when necessary.

5) Count medications (we have automated counters, no manual counting is involved), fill blister packs, basic mixing and compounding procedures.

6) Basic opening and closing procedures ( turn on and off open signs, TV, stereo, side walk sign, replenish water,cups, allign waiting room chairs, end of the day garbage etc...). We have cleaners so day to day cleaning may not be required.

7) Cyclically check outbox for stale prescriptions, pull out expired inventory and return them, manage and return medication for disposal as needed.

8) Processing prescriptions (system is paperless, so not much filing is involved, however a few things are still required to be filed), batch scanning prescriptions, know/learn kroll very well.

9) To be compliant with any changes required as per PODSA bylaws (manager will educate), follow manager/management directions and adapt to any suggested workflow changes.
