With the ever increasing demand for support and service in the auto industry, our **Barrie Honda** location is looking for a **Service Advisor** to join the team. **Responsibilities** - Work directly with customers and technicians to ensure that there is ongoing communication and effective operations within the service department. - Work under timelines without compromising quality of work. - Handle all customer service related questions and concerns with a genuine intent to advise and help solve their problem. - Build strong rapport with customers and create a customer base through effective contact methods that make sense for the customer, including inbound and outbound telephone calls. - Considerate of the customer experience, willing to consistently commit to following through with prospecting calls and follow-up with customers within specific time frames. - Work with KPI’s to determine areas of high and low performance and interest in continuous personal and professional growth. **Qualifications** - High attention to detail/organization/time management and able to work with mínimal supervision. - Knowledge of automotive servicing methods. - Desire and excitement to work in a team-based environment and work collaboratively towards common goals. - Deep passion and interest in human centered customer experiences. - Comfort working with all levels of staff and customers. - Highly effective communicator (written and verbal), interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to work with customers, colleagues and numerous outside suppliers and stakeholders. - Adapt quickly to changing priorities and conditions. - Growth mindset - open to continuous coaching, feedback and support in development. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. (Excel, Word, Outlook) - 1-2 years of experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not required. **Salary**: From $38,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Extended health care - On-site parking Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Barrie, ON L4N 9H6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Customer service: 3 years (preferred) - Automotive: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
