Server

**Duties**:

- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the dining experience
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy of orders and address any customer concerns or requests promptly
- Assist with basic food preparation and plating as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and workstations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of service

**Skills**:

- Food handling: Knowledge of safe food handling practices and ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Guest services: Ability to provide exceptional customer service, anticipate needs, and exceed guest expectations
- Upselling: Skill in promoting additional menu items or upgrades to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
- Hospitality: Innate ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Help: Willingness to assist team members and contribute to a positive work environment
- Basic math: Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate order taking, bill calculation, and cash handling
- Sanitation: Understanding of proper sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Food service: Familiarity with standard food service procedures, including table setup, order taking, and delivery
- Food preparation: Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, such as garnishing plates or assembling simple dishes
- Kitchen: Ability to collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth coordination of food delivery
