The Shipping Clerk is the point of contact for the shipping office. The main duties and responsibilities of a shipping clerk includes ensuring shipping invoices and other documents are accurate and enter orders in the SAGE system. As the point of contact, there is a multitude of other varied tasks for the warehouse in the administrative capacity.

**CHALLENGES**:Understand and be able to be productive in a very fast-paced environment, multi-tasking and organisation is key.

**KEY RESPONSABILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Prepare shipping document (i.e: Bills of lading, invoices, etc.. )
- Report damages to management
- Process incoming and outgoing documentation in the system in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist in resolving discrepancies and other problems with orders and shipments in a timely manner
- Support customer service department in related duties, as needed
- Point of contact for all request to the shipping office
- Monitor access to the warehouse
- Maintain Health and Safety logs
- Update Trucks maintenance & repairs binders
- Update Forklift maintenance & repair binders
- All other administrative tasks required in the shipping office

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow-up relentlessly
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations
- Good knowledge of clerical work
- Efficiently communicate with internal departments
- Bilingual written and speaking
- Computer skills Experience with SAGE will be considered an asset.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience in food distribution industry will be considered an asset

**MATERIAL REQUIREMENT & TOOLS.**
- SAGE
- Required to wear steel toe shoes
