**Your Role**:

- Oversee the EDI process including the exchange of Purchase Orders, PO Acknowledgement, Advance Ship Notices and Invoices;
- Verify that all EDI Purchase orders are sent to trading partners in a timely manner;
- Liaise with external EDI provider, Vendors, Information Technology, Finance, Order Management, Logistics and Category Managers to identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during EDI on a timely basis;
- Set up new vendors on EDI;
- Accurately allocate invoices to general ledger within Peoplesoft for timely payment;
- Assist with accounts payable reconciliations;
- Provide daily back up and cross training on Accounts Payable functions during peak times and vacation coverage; and
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- Business Administration degree or equivalent accounting experience and knowledge is an asset;
- EDI experience considered an asset;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Accounts Payable experience an asset;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Knowledge and ability to work in Microsoft Excel;
- Knowledge of Retek, Peoplesoft and Access an asset;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments while adhering to strict deadlines;
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment;
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision; and
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
