New and modern dental office in Keswick, looking for an experienced Dental Assistant with Front Desk experience is an asset.

**Job Details**:

- Dental assistant duties, assisting on surgeries, restorative, endodontics, and other dental procedures
- You must be personable, friendly, and have a strong work ethic.
- We are looking for a team player with a love of dentistry and the desire to help patients.

**Responsibilities**:
Assisting duties include but are not limited to:

- Chairside assisting for all dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take digital X-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Taking inventory of supplies and equipment maintenance
- Maintaining the office in a clean, sterile, and tidy manner

**Licence/Certification**:

- CDA Level II certification required
- HARP certification required

**Requirements**:

- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and instruments is required
- Proficient in taking dental x-rays and maintaining radiation safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A good command of the English language (written and verbal), strong communication and computer skills are essential
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

**Experience**:

- Dental assisting: minimum 3 years (required)
- Dental receptionist experience is an asset
- Knowledge of Paradigm dental software is an asset

**Job Type**: Permanent
