Right now, we have a great opportunity for you to be part of our team and our ongoing success as a Live Goods Purchaser.

As a member of the Sales team, the Live Goods Purchaser will be responsible for building relationships with existing vendors in Canada & the U.S.A as well as sourcing new potential suppliers.

**Total Compensation**

**The Details**

**Relationship building with existing vendors in Canada &USA**

**Sourcing new potential suppliers in Canada & USA**

**Structuring buy-in process by analyzing product demand on weekly and monthly basis.**

**Recognize and capitalize on opportunity buys**

**Excel in data analytics calculating product demand, shelf-life, transport time, and truck fill rate capacities**

**Understand and prepare inbound shipments and deals for industry events such as Christmas, AD weeks, Easter and Mothers Day.**

**Inventory Control / On Hand analysis and forecasting**

**Capacity planning**

**Occasional travel to visit local/non-local suppliers, tradeshows.**

**About You**

**Friendly with a good sense of humour**

**You take your work seriously, but you don’t take yourself too seriously**

**Your background includes experience in Horticulture**

**Proficiency in MS Office suite planning software tools**

**4+ years of proven Excel experience/proficiency**

**Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills**

**Solid organizational skills, Self-motivated, Driven, passionate for efficiencies**
