**Job description**

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong Microsoft Excel skills that ideally also has programming/coding/data analytics experience.

The role is responsible for all aspects of order entry, order management, proactively managing inventory and movement of contract sourced products and generating long term planning schedules. The role is also responsible for the planning and oversight of finished goods production and raw material planning. Coordination with sales forecasting, production planning, and logistics on supply related issues are essential to ensure proper execution of freight moves.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain long term planning schedules:

- Plan production schedule and order product in order to to meet sales demand including innovation launches
- Plan and manage raw materials ordering
- Manage order delivery to warehouse and inventory
- Manage external orders and arrange logistics

- Maintain and ensure accuracy of data related to production planning and order placement and ensure that it is updated in a timely manner.
- Monitor costs to ensure the production process stays within budget
- Review of out of stock items, determine root cause and work with team to mitigate risk
- Develop, implement, monitor and maintain supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed of operations.
- Communicate issues and concerns to management team in timely manner.
- Identifying changing customer needs through a constant review of the highest selling products.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Automate production planning, sales, raw materials and inventory forecasting.
- Write/script code (in Python, R, or VBA) to automate various tasks and processes.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- A University Degree in a related discipline is a requirement.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills is a requirement.
- Supply chain planning education and/or experience is an asset.
- 3-years of work experience in a business environment is an asset.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Possess intellectual curiosity and passion for continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership/accountability of projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others as a team.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and managed based on urgency in an environment of constantly evolving priorities.
- Proficiency in Python, R or VBA coding/programming is an asset.
- Ability to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help automate tasks and improve processes is an asset.
- Experience with using Power BI and other data analysis and visualization tools is an asset.

In addition to paid salary, the following additional benefits/compensation will be available following completion of a 6-month probationary period:
