**Registered Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Technician - Join Our Compassionate, Fast-Paced Team**

Holly Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated **Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) / Veterinary Technician** to join our experienced and friendly team. We are a busy, well-established small animal practice located in Barrie, Ontario, committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to pets and exceptional service to their families.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll be working alongside supportive veterinarians, fellow RVTs, veterinary assistants, and client care professionals who are passionate about animal health and client education.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures
- Perform diagnostic lab tests such as bloodwork and urinalysis
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Take and submit digital radiographs
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Communicate with pet owners regarding home care, medications, and follow-up

**Qualifications**
- Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technician program
- RVT designation preferred, or eligibility to become registered in Ontario
- Minimum two years experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital, especially in a busy setting
- Strong technical skills in lab procedures and patient handling
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- A passion for animal health and delivering exceptional client care

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
