_**SMI Automation Inc**_. is seeking one (1) full-time, experienced **Project Manager** to become part of a growing, diverse team. We offer competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance and pension plan.
**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of projects.
- High level planning and coordination of projects and direct liaison for clients.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Develop project scopes, objectives, deliverables and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Work with the scheduling department to ensure necessary resources are available to meet purchase order delivery date.
- When purchase order is received schedule a cross functional kick off meeting with necessary team members.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Effective, clear, and timely communication of the project expectations to team members.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project scope and the client.
- Prepare progress reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in the work, identify potential crises & contingency plans.
- Report and escalate to upper management as needed.
- Build, develop and manage the working relationship with the client(s).
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including end of project analysis identifying areas of success, areas of improvement and recommendations for future projects.
- Work closely with the quality department to ensure 100% client satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum five (5) years’ proven experience in project management.
- An educated background, specifically in the field of fabrication/ NDT testing, or at the minimum, proven experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Must be a team player who can collaborate and utilize the skills and knowledge of the relevant team members.
- Ability to conform to shifts in priorities due to the demands and timeline changes.
- Excellent client-facing and negotiating skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and internal communication skills.
- Must possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and program management software.
- Ability to travel if needed.
- Ability to travel to the United States.
- Starting salary: from $75,000.00 per year.
- Wage is dependent on experience.
