Technical Support Specialist

Clarke North America Inc, a div of TFI Internationalispremium transportation services provider in Canada. Currently, we are searching for an experienced **Technical Support Specialist **to join our team in the Brampton Office.
- More specifically, your responsibilities will include: _
- Provide support to the software development team, including systems management tasks.
- Configuration, installation, and setup of desktop related software and hardware
- Strong knowledge of active directory.
- Participation in a rotational on-call schedule for after-hours support
- Completion of 3+ Yr. post-secondary degree/diploma in computer technologies or related field.
- A minimum of 3 Yr. work experience in a corporate I.T. environment is must.
- In-depth understanding on Microsoft exchange, and Windows server management.
- Developing and following practices and procedures to maintain firewalls and networking equipment.
- Knowledge L2/L3 switch mangement, web-filtering, and various network protocols.
- Working experience wide range of software, utilities, protocols, and support tools (Lansweeper, AVG, VNC, RDP, TeamViewer, etc.)
- Knowledge for IBM iSeries / AS400 would a definite asset.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly self-motivated with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working both independently and in a team setting.
- Experience with VMware products, and backup solutions like VEEAM.
- Exposure to Azure, SharePoint, and office 365.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally required.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
