OAKRIDGE LANDSCAPE CONTRACTORS needs a Residential Landscape Construction Foreperson to join our dynamic team of talented individuals This employee helps make our residential customers' backyard dreams a reality.

**Position**:Residential Landscape Construction Foreperson.

**Location**:Hamilton, ON (covers Hamilton/Grimsby/St. Catharines/Niagara Falls areas).

**Pay**:

- $25-32 per hour
- Benefits after 3 months
- Company-matching RRSP program available after one-year employment.

**Job Duties**:

- Residential Landscape Construction Foreperson related to the landscape construction industry.
- This position will involve assisting in the daily management of residential construction projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors.
- This position also includes the use of numerous types of related equipment.

**Key duties include**:

- Managing a crew of 3-5 people.
- Drive company truck and trailer.
- Installation of natural stone (flag, armor, etc).
- Installation of interlock paving stone.
- Installation of precast pavers and retaining walls.
- Ability to dig holes (when needed), place soils, plant trees, and shrubs, etc.
- Trim shrubs and evergreens.

**Job Requirements**:

- Valid Driver’s License “G” is required.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Minimum of 5 years field experience and 3 years crew management.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
- Meet with subcontractors and supervise quality, efficiency, and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work long hours and the occasional Saturday.
