Outside Sales Specialist

**Position Overview**: As an Outside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with clients in the roofing industry. You will focus on prospecting, presenting our roofing solutions, and closing sales to meet or exceed sales targets. This role requires a high level of self-motivation, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of roofing products and services.

**Responsibilities**:
**Prospect and Generate Leads**: Identify and research potential clients in the residential and commercial sectors.
Utilize various sources such as online directories, referrals, and networking events to generate leads.
Conduct cold calls and visit potential clients to introduce our roofing solutions and services.
Develop a robust pipeline of qualified leads to achieve sales targets.

**Consultative Sales Approach**: Understand clients' roofing needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Conduct thorough site assessments to accurately determine roofing specifications and estimate costs.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, emphasizing the benefits and features of our roofing solutions.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and objections in a professional and persuasive manner.

**Relationship Building and Account Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the roofing industry.
Follow up with leads and existing clients to nurture relationships and secure repeat business.
Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for business growth.

**Sales Administration**: Prepare accurate and detailed sales reports, including sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
Utilize CRM software to track and manage leads, client interactions, and sales data.
Collaborate with the General Manager to develop sales strategies, share best practices, and contribute to team goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the roofing industry or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of roofing products, materials, and installation methods.
- Strong ability to generate leads and build a pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a client-centric approach.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
