**Lethbridge, AB is looking for a Pet Sitter/ Dog Walker to join our team**

**What we are looking for**:
**Duties**:

- Supervise and monitor pets in your care
- Engage in playtime activities and exercise: Walking dogs, pet/playing/brushing cats, handling small animals
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Changing cat litter boxes
- Feeding and administering medication as needed
- Monitor and report any signs of illness or injury to the management team
- Interact with pet owners, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Other services as required: house checks, bringing in mails, shoveling, etc.
- Daily diary of pets activity

**Skills**:

- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds with confidence and care
- Ability to handle cats and small animals
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently
- Ability to work outside in any weather
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking

Please note that this position requires heavy lifting and physical activity throughout the day. Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required.

Pet City Canada is an established, locally owned business operating near downtown Lethbridge. We offer many pet care services including grooming, doggy daycare, pet sitting, and dog walking.
