BD Biosciences - Marketing Manager Job Description (20 Month Contract). This opportunity is Hybrid at the Mississauga, ON location.
The BD Biosciences Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the BD Biosciences marketing team. Developing and implementing strategy on marketing plans, short and long term strategy and financial planning, pricing policy, promotional activity etc.
**Reporting to the Business Director, BD Life Sciences Canada the Marketing Manager is responsible for**:
- Lead BDB Canada Marketing team - coaching and developing team on marketing competencies, collaborating on teams individual Platforms and marketing deliverables
- Develop and implement the BDB strategic marketing plan and ongoing marketing programs
- Responsible for developing multi-year business strategy and business plans
- Work with Sales Leader, Account Managers and SCDs across Canada to drive sales of BDB products and services
- Represent the Canadian region as a member of the BDB Global Marketing Council and the BDB business on the Canadian Marketing Council
- Ensure Canadian sales team has appropriate marketing plan and tools for selling
- Ensure Canadian requirements are clearly communicated to WW Business via the Market Segment Leaders and other key partners
- Plan and implement new product and service launches
- Coordinate Annual Financial Budgets and Quarterly Projections
- Represent Marketing on the BDB Canada management team
- Lead the Service Portfolio for BDB Canada
**SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to engage and develop direct report(s) and interact successfully with all management levels.

- Entrepreneurial, with creative spirit and vision
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in marketing excellence: shown skills in driving strategic offerings
- Ability to develop deep insights from relationships, analytics and research to advise marketing plans
- Proven track record in market planning and execution for sales effectiveness
- Ability to work in cross functional team, fostering environment of customer centricity with bias to action
**EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE** REQUIREMENTS**:
- BSc or Business Degree, MBA (preferred)
- 7 years of healthcare experience in marketing/product management
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing plans and leading a team
- Experience in forecasting with consistent track record of achieving and exceeding financial targets
- Strong understanding of the Life Sciences Segment (Clinical Diagnostics and/or Research)
- Bilingual in French and English an asset
