Blackbird Security Inc. is a quickly growing security services company and has built a reputation for excellence by setting the standards for superior performance and excellent customer service. We are looking to hire a National Recruiting Manager that will help us continue to build and grow at this standard while we continue to expand across Canada.
As the National Recruiting Manager, you will be working in our Vancouver, BC office working alongside our leadership and management teams with the support of a recruiting team that has members working from our Vancouver and Toronto offices.
This position is full-time (40 hours per week) with some additional hours as required.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee national recruiting efforts for all of our regions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to members of the national recruiting team.
- Effectively manage and maximize recruitment budgets.
- Post job advertisements and explore new platforms or methods of advertising.
- Manage and oversee our open ads and recruitment platforms.
- Screen and conduct interviews for high-level positions.
- Attend hiring fairs and similar events.
- Coach hiring managers on best practices and techniques.
- Other recruitment-related activities as directed by the leadership team.
**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in HR and/or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years recruiting/talent acquisition experience.
- Minimum 1 year of management experience.
- Knowledge of the Security Industry is a major asset.
- Excellent English language skills (written and verbal).
- Experience using job boards.
- Knowledge of interviewing best practices and applicable legislation.
- Able to work in our Vancouver, BC office.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
