**Responsibilities**:
- Technical project setup- Set up color management by creating and editing OCIO configurations both manually and via custom tools- Color Management workflow, improving workflows- Problem-solving delivery and color issues in a high-pressure environment- Setups for deliveries to external parties are configured by you and any 2D elements that go into or out of the pipeline is under your watchful eye where issues are resolved accurately- Debug color issues with ingested plates, within DCCs and for deliveries- Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure a smooth workflow- Ensure correct ingestion and delivery specifications for all 2D elements- Manage project metadata- Facilitate the standardizing of how to exchange technical information with clients and other vendors.- Work with the pipeline team on the custom tools related to these workflows and potentially write scripts and tools yourself, too.
**Requirements**:
- Mastery of Nuke- Mastery of OCIO- Solid working knowledge of ACES- Solid working knowledge of Color Management methodologies- Understanding of EDL's and other exchange formats- Knowledge of Shotgrid and/or FTrack- Experience in Linux and Windows- Excellent communication with production and editorial team(s).- Understanding of VFX workflows
**Preferred Skills**:
- Prior company experience- Exceptional communication skills in dealing with both technical and artistic groups- Solid working knowledge of Python is required- Solid working knowledge PyQt / PySide- Solid working knowledge After Effects and Fusion- Experience diagnosing render farm issues
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in a VFX position;- Prior experience in leading a team and solving problems under short deadlines.
**Education**:
- High School education or equivalent required- BA/BS in applicable field preferred
