**Location: East Hamilton**

In this role, you will supervise and care for youth in a a 24-hour open custody residential home for young offenders. As a Youth Justice/ Relief Worker, you will attend to the physical and emotional needs of the youth through individual and group programming, and advocacy on behalf of each youth.
- You have successfully completed post-secondary education from a college/university of recognized standing in the Human Services field plus one year of recent relevant work experience
- OR a recognized secondary school diploma with supplementary courses in human behaviour plus two years of relevant work experience.
- Have an availability to work on-call hours which regularly fall within normal business hours (24x7 operations) of days, evenings, weekends, rotational shifts and holiday hours may be required based on operational needs
- Provide and maintain an acceptable Criminal/Vulnerable Sector Record and Health Assessment
- A valid Class G driver's license with a proven acceptable driving record

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervision and Care of Youth (Resident)
- Carrying Out Therapeutic Programming
- Maintaining Safety and Security of Building and Equipment
- Liaise with Internal/External Team Members, Community Agencies including Police, Court and Probation Services, Support Services, and Volunteers.
- Completing Assigned Administrative Duties

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.46-$22.20 per hour
