As a member of our core operations team, you will provide professional advice and support to EPL customers in procuring goods and services and performing related contract execution and supply management functions. This role will involve full cycle procurement and vendor relations with a focus on EPL teams and events, IT purchases, Facilities portfolio and Marketing requirements, our buys are as varied as our libraries.

Taking the buys from start to finish from initiation of request to award, you will determine contract requirements and develop agreements, execute contracts, monitor contract performance, resolve disputes, and close out contracts. A key function of this role is to maintain strong vendor relations and communication to ensure that the terms and conditions of contracts are being satisfied. Your multi-tasking abilities combined with your excellent organizational skills are vital in this role.

**Job Requirements**:

- Working towards a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is an asset.
- A minimum of three years of related purchasing experience, including experience in a corporate centralized purchasing environment and contracting.
- Experience in public sector procurement and trade laws is an asset.
- Experience using SAP ECC, ARIBA and HANA is preferred.

**What do you need to bring to this position?**
- Strong working knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, tender and contract law, and trade agreements as well as various procurement strategies.
- Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand the needs of the client.
- Demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated experience in working with vendors.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and ERP computer systems.

**Pay Band**:
$33.31 to $42.52 per hour*
- Approximately $60,857 to $77,684 per annum based on a 35 hour work week.
