**What a typical day looks like**
- Set a clear vision for the team, define success, and provide clear prioritization.

- Inventory Management: Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring materials are available to meet demand without creating excess stock.
- Material Replenishment: Develop and implement strategies for timely material replenishment based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and historical trends.
- Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of materials and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Forecasting & Demand Planning: Analyze historical sales and inventory data to forecast future demand, adjusting inventory levels as necessary.
- Order Management: Oversee the ordering process for raw materials, finished goods, and other inventory items to ensure timely order placement and avoid stockouts.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and present reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, order status, and material replenishment. Identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve processes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess inventory and replenishment processes for efficiency, proposing and implementing improvements to optimize costs and inventory turnover.
- Stock Audits: Lead and participate in periodic inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flows.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to inventory control and materials management.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Address supply chain disruptions or inventory-related issues promptly to minimize operational impact.

**What you'll bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CIPS) are a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in inventory management, material replenishment, or supply chain operations. Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry is an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience leading teams and empowering frontline accountability of actions, roles and responsibilities.
- Strong proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., M3, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels based on data insights.
- Strong capacity to analyze inventory reports and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and best practices.
- **Travel**: Ability to travel for 2-3 weeks per quarter.
