**Department: Child Adolescent Psychiatry Services (CAPS)**

**Site: St. Joseph's Health Centre**

**Shifts: Days**

**Rate of Pay: $21.81 - $25.66 per hour**

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a secretarial arts diploma program or equivalent
- A minimum of five (5) years related work experience
- Experience in the provision of clerical support for medical and clinical staff
- Experience in the preparation and maintenance of clinical records and preparation of medical correspondence
- Experience in reception, scheduling and payroll
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, with knowledge of OTN, Meditech, CWS, Catalyst - DATIS, StaffRight, GroupWise, Access and web-based data collection systems is required
- Demonstrated experience working with the addiction and mental health client population is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team with timeline deadlines and quick response to the clerical needs of the program
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and public relations skills
- Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
