Summerhill Market is looking for a **Deli Production Team lead** to join the Deli Production team at our **Rosedale** location.

**Overview**

Summerhill Market is hiring a **Deli & Cheese Production Team Lead** at our Rosedale location. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing the slicing, cutting, wrapping, packaging, and labeling of deli meats and cheeses. You'll lead a small team, ensure high quality standards, maintain food safety protocols, and support efficient order fulfillment for our retail stores.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and support the Deli & Cheese Production team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Oversee slicing of deli meats and cutting of cheeses, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and food safety.
- Manage wrapping, labeling, packaging, and product presentation for retail distribution.
- Monitor quality control, inventory rotation, and production efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with all food safety and OHSA health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Deli Category & Production Manager on process improvements and team development.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years in deli/cheese or food production; leadership experience an asset.
- Strong food safety knowledge; valid Food Handler’s Certificate required.
- Skilled in slicing, cutting, and operating related equipment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in cold environments.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
