We are looking for a talented
- **VFX Pipeline TD**
Ghost VFX

Ghost VFX is looking for a Pipeline Technical Director who will be involved with creating tools and workflows, optimizing the artist’s ability to complete tasks, and handling the transfer of data between different steps in the pipeline.

This opportunity will entail writing code, developing tools and support for multiple DCCs (Maya, Houdini, or Nuke), working cooperatively with artists, engineers, and other developers while supporting software both proprietary and generic.

**Responsibilities**:

- Show and studio pipeline support
- Develop and maintain tools/scripts to be used in various stages of the pipeline.
- Problem-solving in a high-pressure environment
- Collaborating with other studio facilities
- Possess exceptional workflow understanding and communication skills to help guide artists through production tasks in workflows of varying complexity.

**Requirements**:

- Understanding of VFX workflows
- Familiarity with creating and supporting plugins for Maya, Houdini, or Nuke
- Excellent knowledge of Python is required
- Experience using PySide/PyQt
- Experience testing code
- Code sharing and experience in Git workflows
- Familiarity using the ShotGrid API
