- Sessions Cannabis is seeking applicants for the role of Sales Associate at our store in _**_Elliot Lake, Ontario_**_. We are looking for dedicated individuals who understand the nuances of cannabis and are eager to enter this burgeoning industry._

**_Job Description_**
- Sessions Cannabis Sales Associates are customer service specialists as well Sessions brand ambassadors. Our team members are able to direct any type of customer to their desired product and experience._
- The ideal Sessions employee is compassionate, responsible, and well-educated in cannabis. We are looking for individuals who can engage positively with their community and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment._

**_Pay_**
- _$15.50 per hour (plus we provide a great store discount)_

**_Hours_**
- _12 - 30 hours a week_

**_Responsibilities: _**
- _Greet customers throughout the day in a friendly and welcoming manner_
- _Confidently represent the Sessions brand and ideals_
- _Educate customers on cannabis products and how to safely consume cannabis_
- _Facilitate the sale of regulated cannabis by discussing cannabis products and engaging customers in a variety of cannabis accessories_
- _Maintain up to date knowledge of new trends and products in the industry_
- _Effectively utilize a cannabis compliant POS system and cash register_
- _Organize, receive and categorize cannabis products and accessories_
- _Ensure the cleanliness of the store is maintained on a daily basis_
- _Check identification of customers who appear to be 25 years of age or under_
- _Abide by all company policies and procedures_

**_Qualifications: _**
- _3-5 years of experience in a retail setting is preferred_
- _Valid Cannsell Cannabis Retail Certification_
- _A clean criminal background check from local authorities_
- _Ability to work in a fast-paced environment_
- _Must be a team player_
- _Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills_
- _Availability for shift work any time between 8:30am to 11:30pm, Monday to Sunday_
- _Basic skills in math and proficiency as a cashier_
- _Extensive knowledge of cannabis products and accessories is an asset_
- _Personal connection to the community is an asset_
- _Must be 19 years of age or older_

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour
