The Keekenow senior's facility opened in Wabasca, Alberta in June 2020 and offers assisting living and independent living to community elders both indigenous and non-indigenous.
**As the Virtual Scheduling Clerk, you will...**
Maintain effective scheduling processes; provide short notice relief staff. You will ensure complete documentation of all activities and telephone calls, ensure effective communication between the facility requesting relief staff and the relief staff booked. Duties also include clerical support, data input, maintaining filing systems and other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.
**What do you bring to Keekenow Senior Facility?**
- High School diploma is required
- Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration is an asset
- At least two years of recent clerical/administrative support experience is preferred Familiarity with staff scheduling is an asset
- Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Competencies:
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required
- Possess interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external contacts while delivering services in a timely and accurate manner in an environment with frequent interruptions
- Can manage sensitive information and recognize limits/boundaries
- Demonstrates an awareness of accident and injury prevention; adheres to safe work practices and procedures; and is responsible for maintaining self-wellness and reduced absenteeism
You must have a current and clear criminal record check (or be willing to obtain one), have all current and up-to-date immunization records, and be flexible to meet the needs of the residents including weekends and holidays.
