Experienced Tower Technician

**Summary**:
**Attributes**:
Ability to lead, coach, and train junior staff on telecommunications infrastructure construction. Rooftops, Monopoles, Self Support, and Guyed towers.

Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawings with high level of attention to detail.

Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills and demonstrate autonomy in day to day tasks.

Maintains a strong commitment to safety and working knowledge of standard industry safety procedures. Follow all documented policies and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and your co-workers.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Takes pride in company image, and quality of work.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to communicate complex challenges with clarity.

Ability to travel away from home for up to two weeks with mínimal notice.

**Experience**:
5+ Years of telecommunications industry experience both technical and rigging.

In-building DAS and structured cabling experience.

Installation of carrier grade equipment adhering to all documented methods of procedure.

Competency and experience in construction environments and working within various conditions and climates.

Proficient with common telecommunications test equipment. (RF Sweep Gear, OTDR, Multi-meter)

Understanding of RF connector termination with various types of cables and connectors.

Must hold a valid class 5 drivers licence.

**Compensation**:
All relevant industry training - Fall Protection, High Angle Rescue, Aerial Platform, First Aid, Leadership for Safety Excellence (LSE). Any other training required based on task.

Annual PPE Allowance

LOA and Overtime pay.

$30.00- $42.00 per hour. DOE.

**Responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunication towers and related equipment.
- Operate bucket trucks and forklifts safely to access elevated work areas.
- Conduct rigging and low-voltage electrical work as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain First Aid certification.
- Provide excellent customer service while collaborating with team members to improve processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the construction environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 70 per week
