**R-Service Environmental Group is looking for a junior estimator/project assistant to add to our growing team.**

**Role Qualifications**:

- Computer knowledge and efficiency.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications & reports.
- Cost estimating skills specific to demolition or construction.
- Ability to manage time efficiently.
- Must have the desire to grow professionally.
- Be a flexible and adaptable team player.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to read drawings and specs.
- Ability to travel (own vehicle)

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Track closings on shared calendar.
- Provide take-offs on tendered projects.
- Provide notes on tenders outlining any specifics.
- Assist senior estimator with daily tenders.
- Check and verify one’s own quantities on each and every take-off.
- Review potential jobs on site and take notes/dimensions.

**Experience**:

- Prefer 1-3+ years of construction experience.

**Salary & hours of work**:

- $45,000.00-$60,000.00
- 40 hour work week.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- English not required
- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L4Y 1Y6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:
