Madorin Snyder LLP is a full service law firm based in Kitchener, Ontario and serving clients throughout Ontario. Over the last 60 years, we have maintained our reputation as specialists in a number of areas of the law, including real estate, corporate commercial and estates.
We require an individual with legal real estate experience to join a busy practice.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Working on residential real estate files;
- Reading and interpreting title searches;
- Drafting and coordinating necessary documents required for closing;
- Preparing final reports;
- Meeting strict deadlines;
- Problem-solving with mínimal supervision;
- Doing bank runs on busy real estate transaction days;
- Other duties as assigned;
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience
- Strong computer knowledge in the following programs: MS Office, Conveyancer, Teraview, and PC Law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, lawyers, mortgage lenders, and staff;
- Ability to work in a fast paced high volume environment
- Must be organized, thorough and have high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
