SOFTGOODS SALES STAFF: Full Time (Seasonal)

What you will do in this role:

- Provide the highest level of customer service
- Utilize the Point of Sale cash system, processes payments, refunds and exchanges and issues gift cards
- Receive/process stock involving: unpacking, counting, tagging as required, folding, sizing and placing on the floor, with overflow stock in back room
- Become informed and maintain product knowledge through consistent attendance at training sessions
- Assist with merchandise presentation and restocking
- Answers phone inquiries as required
- Maintain appropriate paperwork regarding returns, telephone and special orders
- Provide feedback to product buyers as needed
- Create and maintain a clean inviting atmosphere for customers
- Promote the Skiis & Biikes brand and love of sport philosophy
- Assist in controlling traffic levels and flow throughout the store

Requirements for this role:

- Proven sales experience
- Passion, knowledge and involvement in athletic pursuits such as skiing, snowboarding, and biking
- Ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships and develop a rapport with customers
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Positive, passionate, and self-starting attitude and work ethic
- Proactive, solution-oriented, responsible, dependable
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Schedule flexibility including nights and weekends
- Completion of grade 12 education

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Shift:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Work days:

- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
