Operating as a non-profit society since 1977, Etana provides support services to adults with developmental disabilities. We work with individuals in the city of Red Deer and area, with our office located in Red Deer. We are recruiting a Community Direct Support Worker to provide individualized support for individuals in Red Deer. **This position requires working 20 hours per week Tuesday, Wednesday 9 am to 4 pm and Thursday 9 am to 3 pm. **There may be some variation in this schedule required from time to time as dictated by the individuals requirements. As a Community Support Worker you would be providing supports that include community outings such as going for walks, movies, shopping, lunch out etc. **Must have vehicle large enough to carry a folding wheelchair or walker.** Some personal care is required. You will be expected to provide supports across multiple environments, which will promote personal growth, increase social inclusion and enhance quality of life.
