Bakery Front of House Manager

Goûter is looking for a Front of House Store Manager to oversee operations at our Six Point location in Etobicoke at 34 Six Point Road. Strong and clear communication skills, a enthusiasm for customer service and people, and a love for baked goods (or a willingness to learn) is essential to success in this role. The store manager position has a schedule of Wednesday to Sunday, including early mornings. This role is based out of the Six Points location however flexibility to work at our Bathurst and Eglinton locations from time to time is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Work in the front of house serving customers food and beverages, including espresso-based drinks
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock tracking.
- Supervise and motivate retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and market competition
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role
- Basic math and writing skills
- Good understanding of Excel / Google sheets
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers and staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges
- Proficient in time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

**Salary**: $16.55-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 45 per week
