Career Opportunity: Store Manager
Where: London, ON
Type: FULL-TIME, PERMANENT
When: Weekdays and Weekends (Overtime as required)
A day in the life of
The Store Manager is responsible for coordinating all operations of the retail store including motivating a team of salespeople and overseeing the warehouse inventory and staff. This includes achieving desired revenue objectives and providing the highest level of customer service. Strong communication, and ability to multitask are critical elements for success in this role.
What we need from you
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, with university degree or college diploma preferred.
- Experience in the flooring industry considered an asset.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a managerial role.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Extremely personable and adept at dealing with the public, with exceptional customer service orientation.
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor.
