Ywca Property Manager, Tenant Relations

The Property Manager, Tenant Relations is responsible for supporting successful tenancies/program agreements at the YWCA’s 11 long term housing communities, 3 second stage transition houses, and our transitional housing for women in recovery. This position regularly communicates, collaborates and coordinates with other staff to support a strong team culture. The Property Manager, Tenant Relations role includes:
- Respectful communication with tenants/residents
- notices to tenants/residents about building issues that may impact them
- sending tenants their new housing charge amounts
- responding to tenant/resident complaints
- co-facilitating tenant/resident conflict resolution meetings
- addressing breaches of tenancy/program agreement
- receiving notices to end tenancy/program agreement
- letting residents know when their program agreement is ending
- approving program agreement extensions
- managing transfer requests
- managing parking waitlist
- managing evictions
- Oversight of the housing charge calculation/income verification process
- Supervision of the Rent Calculation Clerk
- Backup on-call for Emergencies
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Licensed Property Manager or previous property management experience and familiarity with the Residential Tenancy Act
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Conflict resolution skills would be an asset
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Appropriate boundaries
- Team player, but able to work independently
- Experience and comfort using the following would be an asset: Arcori, Outlook, One Drive, Sharepoint, Teams, Zoom, Safetyline and ADP Workforce Now
- Positive criminal record check clearance
- Successful applicants are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, exemption requests must be supported by valid, legal documents
