**OUTDOOR RINK ATTENDANT**
(Temporary Part Time - Up to 25 hours/week - December 2024 to March 2025)

**The Town of Wasaga Beach** is seeking reliable, self-motivated individuals to perform the duties of Outdoor Rink Attendant.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age;
- Requires an unrestricted valid class “G2” Ontario Driver’s License (minimum);
- Able to perform all duties of this physically active position including, heavy lifting and ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions;
- Being a seven day a week operation, the ability to work a rotating shift, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime on short notice;
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member;
- Good organizational and decision making skills;
- Good understanding of Safe Operating Procedures of associated facility maintenance equipment;
- Standard First Aid certification, CPR and WHIMIS training considered an asset;
- Ability to provide a current acceptable Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector) if hired;
- Competencies for this position include demonstrated abilities in the following areas: excellent communication skills, positive interactions with public, ability to work as part of a team, ability to adhere to safe work practices and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

**NOTE**: A Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 3115 is in place

**Hourly rate** - $18.96
