**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential vendors and evaluate their offerings.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with contracts.
- Oversee the sourcing process for materials needed for fabrication and production.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and SAP software for efficient inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan purchases accordingly.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles, ideally in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management.
- Familiarity with MRP systems and SAP software is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends and pricing strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

This role is essential in ensuring that our organization operates efficiently while maintaining strong supplier partnerships that contribute to our overall success.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $22.31-$23.48 per hour
