A teaching assistant (TA) & Homeroom Teacher serves as bonding between the instructor, the students, and their parents to ensure ongoing communication between all parties. Furthermore, the homeroom teacher assists the instructor with course material, assignments, and test marking, and holds small group sessions with students in order to provide additional support and guidance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as a liaison and homeroom teacher between teacher, students, and parents
- Familiarise oneself with the course content
- Attend classes regularly and communicate with the instructor about the course content, supplementary materials, assignments, etc. in a timely manner
- Conduct regular tutorial and review sessions to guide students through homework & test questions
- Communicate with parents and students about high school courses
- Help students individually or in small groups with assignments/test questions and provide constructive feedback or solutions on students’ progress.
- Oversee students’ learning progress, homework submission and provide sufficient feedback to the teacher
- Manage the mark book of student’s grades
- Assist the Education team with administration duties
- Observe teachers’ performance by listening to class recordings
- Review and evaluate teachers’ reports on students
- Evaluate initial assessments, entrance exams, interview questions, exams for validity and accuracy
- Review and update lesson plans and prepare teaching materials on Google Classroom
- Administer assessments to students to determine learning needs, teachers and classes that best match the student and prepare a timeline for academic goals
- Document student progress, class plans, syllabus, and learning strategies and communicate with the Management Team any concerns regarding student progress
