Manager of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

**Position Summary**
Stealth is growing like crazy and looking for an experienced & motivated Manager of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting matters related to accounts receivable and accounts payable. This includes providing oversight to a team of ten+ interacting with our various offices in Canada, US, and the Philippines.
To succeed as the Manager of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, you should be focused on optimizing department processes and building lasting relationship with others within and outside of the business. You should be knowledgeable, analytical, and decisive with excellent leadership and communication skills.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
Accounts Receivable
- Review weekly and monthly billing to ensure completeness of invoicing and timely distribution to clients
- Monitor AR aging and work closely with the AR Supervisor, AR Specialists, Sales team and Legal (internal & external) on collection resolutions
- Review monthly AR aging analysis report to develop strategy and help prioritize collection efforts
- Review AR subledger for potential bad debts and provide recommendations on the amount to provide for and write them off when necessary
Accounts Payable
- Oversee vendor master data, invoice coding and approval, payment processing, vendor statement reconciliation and corporate credit card statement reconciliation
- Monitor AP aging and work with AP Supervisor to ensure payments are made on a timely basis; review payments to ensure it is accurately processed and supported
- Review and approve wire templates
- Review and work with AP Specialist and Operations to investigate and reconcile open Purchase Orders (POs) and Accrued Inventory Payable
Card Services Management
- Oversee administration of all corporate credit card programs, this includes, issuance and deactivation of corporate card, credit limit changes and inventory of cards
- Serve as a first level escalation point for all credit cards concerns, working directly with internal and external stakeholders in order to resolve any issues that might affect day to day operation of the business
- Run ad hoc reporting for business partner to help support analysis and decision
General
- Motivate, train and evaluate employees to enhance their performance, development and work; address performance issues and makes recommendations for personal growth
- Manage the resolution of issues escalated from team members
- Continuously drive the improvement of systems and processes to gain efficiencies, reduce errors and ensure records are complete and recorded accurately and on a timely basis
- Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines and government regulations
- Assist with the implementation of the upcoming ERP enhancements
- Assist with the annual year end audit, other regulatory audits, and month end closing process as required
- Participate in a variety of ad-hoc reporting, special projects and analysis, as required
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance or Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience and people management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs; Word, Outlook, Excel (pivot tables & vlookups)
- Accounting designation and experience with NetSuite would be an asset
